Although BIC is often referred to by bankers as a SWIFT code or SWIFT address, do note that BIC is slightly different from SWIFT§. €™re stuck at the part where you needed to know and fill in your bank SWIFT or BIC codes (Wiki here). The regulator has also recently noted that some firms are incorrectly populating their counterparty and customer or client identification fields when reporting principal trades. TitlePage currently uses the BIC (Book Industry Communication) system to classify titles on TitlePage. If you have need to send money from one bank to another especially for international transfers, a SWIFT code is required.
