The regulator has also recently noted that some firms are incorrectly populating their counterparty and customer or client identification fields when reporting principal trades. In March 2007 the TitlePage database was upgraded to accept these new codes and we strongly encourage publishers to convert your codes as soon as possible and start using Version 2 codes.
ISO 9362 (also known as SWIFT-BIC, BIC code, SWIFT ID or SWIFT code) is a standard format of Bank Identifier Codes approved by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). In order to facilitate this, the regulator will continue to provide testing facilities for firms to test the records submission process with their ARM.
