SEPA payments require both BIC and IBAN. But if your asking customers to pay you via bank transfer they may request it. For an international bank transfer, you need a SWIFT Code (BIC Code) and the IBAN Code. Despite the delays, the FSA says that firms that wish to continue with their AII implementation projects may submit their AII transaction reporting flow to their ARMs in the interim. SWIFT CODE is the banking route for money remittance. For this reason, Bank Identifier Codes (BICs) are often called SWIFT addresses or codes.
