The IBAN Code is an international bank account number and consists of the Bank Sort Code and the account number. The long term aim is the unification of these two schemes into a single classification system for the English Language book market. The codes can sometimes be found on account statements.
In a nutshell the SWIFT code is a unique bank code used for all interbank messaging.
