SWIFT CODE is the banking route for money remittance. For this reason, Bank Identifier Codes (BICs) are often called SWIFT addresses or codes.
The SWIFT Bank Identification Code is an internationally-recognized system of codes for identifying banks (see ISO 9362). The FSA has therefore issued a reminder of the guidelines for this data I its recent newsletter. TitlePage currently uses the BIC (Book Industry Communication) system to classify titles on TitlePage. SWIFT is the abbreviation of the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication.
